Judith Sanchez

Judith Sanchez is a proud wife and mother of two sons who immigrated from the Dominican Republic at an early age.   As an ESL student, she attended and graduated the Passaic Public School system in 2000 and then enrolled at Passaic County Community College earning a Liberal Arts Humanities Associate degree.  She furthered her education and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from DeVry University.

 

Judith is an active member of the community serving various organizations and boards advocating for the less fortunate.  She is a Youth Mentor and Bible Studies teacher at the First Free United Methodist Church, providing guidance and empowerment to the youth of Passaic. She completed 3 years of “Seminary by Extension to all Nations”, an International ministry school, to further her understanding of theology.  She provides leadership and assistance in organizing activities, events, and fundraisers for the Women Ministry.  Judith has been the Chairperson of the Alcoholic and Beverage Control Board, ensuring public awareness, as well as enforcing compliance of laws and regulations that impact public safety.

 

Judith is a resident of Passaic and works in the city’s administrative offices as an insurance coordinator, monitoring the activities in the safety operations of multiple municipal departments and assisting residents with city- based services and programs.

 

In October 2018, she was appointed as a member of the Passaic Board of Education because of her experience and dedication to the youth of Passaic.
