Snapshot

Passaic High School, located at 170 Paulison Avenue, serves approximately 2,500 students. In accordance with the school district vision, mission, and focus, we strive to put students in a position to successfully compete for high paying jobs in the global marketplace. The PHS team is committed to ensuring that we strive to provide an excellent education to the students of Passaic.

Students have a variety of learning opportunities built into their schedules. Advanced Placement course offerings have been expanded. Every student receives SAT prep, and takes the SAT as a student at PHS. In a partnership with Passaic County Community College, we are offering our students a wide variety of college-credit baring courses, with a strong focus on providing every PHS student the opportunity to graduate high school with a minimum of 15 college credits and/or a career certification.

PHS students are being recognized for their talents and accomplishments. Our nationally recognized JROTC program is regularly mentioned as among the best in the country. Our marching band has won awards at the state and national levels. The Environmental Science Club has won the Excellence in Education Award from the New Jersey Clean Communities Council for five (5) consecutive years. Our students are regularly among those noticed for excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.
